Key Components of Youth Conference
- Spiritually uplifting and entertaining workshops and seminars
- Great EFY Speakers – Brad Wilcox and Alex Boye
- Talent share
- Dances each evening – Wednesday and Thursday
- Testimony meeting
- Recreational opportunities and ample free time. At scheduled times the youth will have access to beach volleyball courts, outdoor courts/fields, basketball courts, swimming facilities, and the campus bookstore.

Heres some of the rules that are to be followed while attending!
- Participate in all conference activities as planned. Stay with the group for all activities.
- Youth are not permitted to drive themselves to or from the conference and are not permitted to drive throughout the duration of the conference. All necessary transportation will be provided.
- Stay in the Youth Conference part of the campus. A map will be provided showing what part of the campus we are to stay on.
- Follow Church standards in dress, language, actions, etc. as outlined in the "For Strength of Youth" manual.
- Be respectful to adults and to other youth.
- Show respect for property, both in the buildings and outdoors.
- Youth will not be allowed to share a room with a leader.
- Swimwear must be modest. For YW, suits need to cover the midriff completely, as if it were one-piece suit. For YM, no tight fitting or Speedo-type suits.
- Come with a great attitude, with the idea of having a great time, making new friends and growing spiritually.
- Cell phones will be allowed at youth conference but with strictly enforced rules. They are not to be USED, SEEN, or HEARD during workshops, opening and closing general sessions, Brother Boye’s concert, devotionals, talent share, and testimony meeting. Anyone not abiding by the rule will have their cell phone confiscated. Any youth who feels they will be tempted to use their cell phone inappropriately is encouraged to leave it at home. Do not bring any other electronics, such as music players or computer games.
- Youth who do not conduct themselves according to the rules will NOT be allowed to remain at conference. A parent will be called to take the youth home.
- At night youth must stay within their assigned dorms. Leaving the dorm between 11:15 pm and 6:00 am will result in participants being sent home.
- During the open time, conference participants must stay on campus within the designated area shown on the map below.

Here's some stuff that you should probably bring!
- Personal bedding (pillow, sheets and/or sleeping bag), pillow, and a bath towel
- Clothing (in all, follow For the Strength of Youth Standard
- Sports:
- (for morning Wake-Up Fitness) YM/YW-knee length shorts, tee shirts (no sleeveless or tank tops), appropriate shoes.
- Modest swim suits if participating in swim on Thursday. afternoon. For girls, suits need to cover the midriff completely, as if it were one-piece suit. For boys, no tight fitting or Speedo-type suits.
- Casual: (for most events, such as mixer, workshops, opening session, talent share, Wed. night dance, and travel to and from the conference)
- YM - jeans, knee length shorts, shirts (tee shirts are acceptable)
- YW - jeans, knee length shorts, capri pants, shirts
- Nice Casual: (for Thurs. night dance)
- YM - khakis or dress pants, button front shirts
- YW - khakis or dress pants, or skirts and shirts
- Sunday dress: (for closing session and testimony meeting)
- YM - dress pants, shirts and ties
- YW - dresses or skirts and shirts, No flip flops.
- good walking shoes (a must)
- umbrella
- personal hygiene items (shampoo, soap, etc.)
- scriptures, notepad, etc. for workshops, and journal
- sack lunch for Wednesday including a Lunch Dessert to Share (LDS), write name on outside of lunch, cold drink will be provided
- camera (optional)
- all participants are encouraged to leave valuables at home.

The Goals for Youth Conference:
Strengthen testimony and faith in Jesus Christ, and the restored Gospel.
Develop and share talents.
Make new friends.
Have fun with youth who share similar beliefs and standards.
Develop leadership skills as they help plan and carry out youth conferences.
Reach out and serve all youth, especially those who are struggling.
Prepare for the conference so all come with the right attitude and balanced expectations.
